Missi Smith is a Kentucky native but has resided in Miami for 23 years. She has been instrumental in helping various retailers such as Nike, Bloomingdale’s and the Home Depot capitalize on their employee assets and implement cost- reducing systems and processes to achieve higher net income. After receiving numerous awards for helping major corporations surpass sales and profit goals, Missi wanted to give more to her family and her community.
Missi has always enjoyed helping others and found a way to do that while creating unlimited income. She started her quest to give back by educating people about health & wellness. Her passion for educating others to make healthier choices for themselves and their families is evident. She does this through her network of friends, family, church, business associates and community organizations.
In 2009, Missi joined an incredible organization whose purpose is to educate the world about the evils of the beverage industry and how this industry is negatively affecting our health. She launched her business with Yoli in July of 2009 and is a founding distributor. The choice was simple from a product viewpoint as Yoli currently has the only true solution to this epidemic. But just as exciting as helping people with their health is the opportunity to also help them find financial solutions for their families and small businesses during this tough economic climate.
Missi is fulfilling her dream of teaching her three adult children that they do not have to trade time for money. She is setting the pace for the entrepreneurs of future generations. Next on her agenda is to launch her “not-for-profit” to help inner city “at risk” youth who are one or two time juvenile offenders. This is a dream dear to her heart.
Missi is married to Javier and they have five children, three dogs and two grandchildren. They enjoy the South Florida weather, boating, jet skiing and almost all water sports. Her perfect afternoon is on the beach with her granddaughter making sandy mud pies. It took a while, but she finally realizes that time is not money, time is precious and the only thing you can never get back. How are you spending your time?
